With over 20 different facelift techniques available, it’s no surprise that results and costs can vary widely. From the mini facelift and SMAS facelift to the mid-facelift, ponytail lift, and even non-surgical options like thread lifts, each method aims to tighten facial skin and underlying structures to varying degrees. However, one technique stands out as the most natural-looking and comprehensive option—the deep plane facelift.
Unlike conventional facelifts that only tighten the skin and facial muscles, a deep plane facelift repositions and restores the deeper layers of facial tissue, including the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system). This technique achieves:

Though foreheads and face shapes are not created equally, the ideal hairline should be 6 centimeters above the brows in females and 7 centimeters in males. And as aging occurs and brows droop, a long forehead or high hairline can make you look a lot older than your actual age. Here in SoCal, forehead reduction is one of Dr. Agha’s specialties. Forehead reduction is a surgery that shortens the length of the forehead by lowering a high hairline. It is also known as hairline lowering surgery or foreheadplasty.

Ideally, your eyebrows should be about ½ inch above the upper orbital rim—the bony ridge forming your eye socket’s roof. Eyebrows tend to sag and end up in a lower position on your forehead as you age. A forehead or brow lift is an excellent procedure for repositioning your brows, so they do not look too low or too close to each other. Dr. Agha offers 4 different brow lift procedures depending on what is best for each patient. These include the traditional coronal forehead lift, the endoscopic brow lift, the lateral brow lift, and the gliding brow lift.
Eyes come in all shapes, colors, and sizes, but youthful-looking eyes that complement one’s face have always been what’s constituted as beautiful eyes. But as you age, your skin loses elasticity — including the skin surrounding your eyes. And with the constant pull of gravity coupled with muscle weakness, the skin of your eyelids can stretch, sag, and form unsightly wrinkles, even bags under the eyes.
Eyelid surgery does three things:

Not everyone is blessed with high cheekbones or plump cheeks. In some people, the midface and cheekbones can be somewhat flat, resulting in hollow or board cheeks with little to no definition. Furthermore, as you get older, the cheek fat pads tend to lose a tiny amount of fat every year, resulting in loss of cheek fullness. For these reasons, Dr. Agha commonly performs a midface lift during his deep plane facelift surgery with buccal fat transposition to make the cheeks fuller.
Dr. Agha believes in creating the most balanced facial flow during his face lift surgeries. To that end, he often performs facial fat transfer to the cheeks, brows, forehead, temples, and lips to enhance the result of your surgery and to improve your skin quality. He also offers additional facial procedures such as chin surgery, ear pinning, and so on.
