TRANSCRIPT

So today we are doing a breast lift and breast augmentation, and neither of these procedures are simple or difficult, but you can make it more comprehensive and more corrective or not. And that's exactly what makes the difference between a good job and a great job, the attention to the little details. In our patient, she has very asymmetrical breasts, not only in terms of size, but shape. This inframammary fold is at 20 centimeters, and this one is exactly the same. But what you'll notice is that the inframammary crease comes all the way up to here, and this one stops here. So here we have to actually deepen this to make it symmetrical with this one. This breast itself is closer to the center than this one, so we have to move these millimeters to this side to make the cleavage the same. We will have to reduce this one to match this one prior to the lift. And then this breast is actually the nipple areola closer to the center than this one. So we have to rotate this one a little bit further out and this one a little bit further in to make them similar. So yes, I could go there and just do a breast lift and breast augmentation, and she'll be very happy. But the intention is to make them as similar as possible. And in order to do that, we have to pay attention to a whole bunch of different things, such as the way that this breast is facing out and this one is facing in, the fact that this one has more cleavage than this one, and the fact that the mammary creases are asymmetrical. Those are the minor points and the bigger picture is obviously the asymmetry in terms of size and so forth. So we're going to be attending to all of those in order to get the best results for her. You ready? Yes.

So you're looking at 385 cc silicone implants that are placed under the chest muscle, and then we performed a breast lift. Obviously, the right breast was significantly larger, and we removed some breast tissue from the right side to make it more symmetrical with the left, and then performed an anchor lift on each side to remove the excess skin, created cleavage or added more cleavage to this side to make it symmetrical with this side. Deepened her inframammary crease here to match this one, rotated this nipple in to match this one, and finished the work with reshaping and restoring her breast.
