2026: Internal Dermal Bra Breast Lift with Breast Reduction

Happy Wednesday everyone. Today we are doing an internal dermal bra breast lift with breast reshaping. This is a procedure that Dr. Rubin and I described in 2005 and I have been doing it for my patients since then. The internal dermal bra breast lift is a superior procedure to the standard breast lift. The standard breast lift uses the skin to hold the breasts in place. And we know that that skin expands, stretches, and grows with gravity. Therefore, a lot of the correction is lost within weeks to months. In order to prevent that, some plastic surgeons are using mesh. The Guerilla mesh became available in 2016, and since then, many plastic surgeons use the mesh. In our practice, we describe the internal dermal bra, we use all of your own breast tissue, the excess skin, and we reconstruct a bra like this internally for the patient, and then we reshape the breast, bring it together, create a beautiful breast, create cleavage, uplift, and complete the surgery. Today she is also having a breast reduction. But more than just operating on the breast, in our practice, my focus is correcting the whole area. So to correct this, I'm also going to tighten her outer chest because I want this beautiful breast to be on a beautiful chest. And to get that, I have to not only work on the painting itself, but also the frame that goes around it. So creating a breast up here with excess here is not going to be as beautiful as creating a beautiful breast with no outer chest excess or upper abdominal excess. The other thing we're going to do for her is to reconstruct her inframammary crease at a higher position that is in itself a form of breast lift so she's getting a double lift and by the virtue of lifting the inframammary fold and reconstructing it at a higher position we're giving her a reverse tummy tuck People ask me if I do a reverse tummy tuck and I have done hundreds of them. I've actually published about them with inframammary fold reconstruction done at the same time. And today we're gonna be doing these procedures together so that not only we give her a breast lift and a breast reduction, but also we'll clean up the whole chest area and her beautiful breasts will present obviously optimally on a beautiful chest.
