Patient Details
This beautiful female patient in her mid-30s came to Dr. Agha after significant weight loss left her with a heavy abdominal apron, weakened core support, and a saggy pubic area beneath the excess tissue. Although her weight had changed considerably, the loose skin remaining across her abdomen continued to conceal the shape she had worked so hard to achieve.
Her primary concerns included:
Because of her fuller frame and the substantial amount of tissue requiring removal, Dr. Agha designed a plus-size extended High-Definition Tummy Tuck™ around her individual anatomy and goals. As he does with every patient, he customized the incision length, abdominal wall repair, tissue removal, waist contouring, and built-in pubic lift to create the safest and most balanced correction for her body.
The extended approach allowed Dr. Agha to remove the heavy abdominal apron across the front of the torso while continuing the correction toward the sides. This prevented the abdomen from appearing flatter only in the center while leaving untreated fullness at either end of the incision.
He then tightened the stretched abdominal wall in two supportive layers, extending from the upper abdomen down toward the pubic region. This internal repair created a firmer foundation beneath the skin and helped improve the shape of the entire torso, rather than only removing what was hanging externally.
As an integral part of the High-Definition Tummy Tuck™, Dr. Agha also lifted and reshaped the pubic area as the abdominal tissues were repositioned. This built-in monsplasty prevents the abdomen from being tightened while leaving the mons heavy or pulled downward, creating a smoother and more balanced transition across the entire lower torso.
The transformation is substantial. The large abdominal apron is gone, revealing a smoother and more defined torso beneath it. Her lower abdomen now rests much closer to the body, her waist is more visible, and the side profile no longer projects forward with a heavy fold of tissue.
The pubic region has also been elevated into a more natural position as part of the same continuous correction. Rather than appearing hidden beneath the abdomen, it now blends smoothly into the lower abdominal contour.
Many of the lowest stretch marks were removed with the excess skin. The remaining stretch marks now rest across a flatter, tighter abdominal surface and appear far less visually dominant.
Dr. Agha positioned the extended incision low enough to remain concealed beneath underwear. The result reflects the purpose of his High-Definition Tummy Tuck™ approach: not simply removing excess skin, but rebuilding the abdominal foundation, incorporating a pubic lift, and revealing a more balanced shape customized to the patient’s own body.
