Patient Details
This patient in her mid 20s came to Dr. Siamak Agha at The Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach seeking correction of her tubular breast shape. She felt that her breasts appeared narrow, tubular, and with limited lower fullness. She desired a more rounded, balanced contour that complemented her frame.
To correct the underlying breast anatomy, Dr. Agha performed tuberous breast correction, which involves more than simply placing implants. The constricted lower breast pole and inframammary fold were surgically released, allowing the breast mound to expand and develop natural lower-pole curvature. Smooth, round saline implants were then placed beneath the muscle to restore volume—320 cc on the left breast and 330 cc on the right—to refine symmetry and projection. A periareolar mastopexy was also performed to reshape the nipple-areola complex, to reposition them, and improve proportion.
Her post-operative photos, taken 3 months after surgery, show significantly improved breast shape and contour—fuller, rounder, and more evenly balanced—while still maintaining a soft, natural appearance.
This case highlights how Dr. Agha’s approach addresses both structure and volume, creating long-lasting, harmonious breast shape.
