Patient Details
This patient in her early 40s came to see Dr. Siamak Agha, after previously undergoing a double mastectomy with implant reconstruction. She presented with breast asymmetry, implant malposition, absent nipples and areolae, widened breast bases, and outer chest fullness—concerns that significantly affected the appearance of her reconstruction.
During Stage 1, Dr. Agha performed Bilateral Implant Removal, a Breast Lift, and Comprehensive Revision of the Reconstructed Breasts to adjust the thickness of the breast tissue uniformly and narrow the breasts. He reconstructed both nipples using flap techniques and performed Preaxilla Liposuction to slim the outer chest and create a more balanced upper torso.
About 4 months later she returned for Stage 2, which included a Right Breast Lift Revision, and Bilateral Areola Reconstruction. To restore volume and projection, Dr. Agha placed Mentor MemoryGel BOOST 405 cc silicone implants into newly prepared submuscular pockets.
Her breast reconstruction revision after photos—taken 1 year post-op—show a more natural breast contour, improved projection, restored nipple-areola complexes, and a narrower, more proportionate chest width. This reconstruction demonstrates how carefully staged surgery can successfully rebuild feminine breast shape after the challenges of breast cancer.
