Patient Details
This patient in her early 40s came to Dr. Siamak Agha at The Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach hoping to correct the stretched lower abdominal tissue and fullness that developed after multiple pregnancies. She wanted a smoother, flatter lower abdomen and a more defined waistline without changing the overall shape of her upper abdomen.
Since the patient did not have much abdominal skin laxity, Dr. Agha performed a Partial Tummy Tuck to remove the excess lower abdominal skin, while repairing the abdominal muscle separation. After infiltrating tumescent solution into the pannus and flanks, he refined the surrounding areas using approximately 200 cc of liposuction per flank to shape the waist. He then removed additional fat from the outer thighs—about 450 cc per side—to smooth the transition from waist to hip and improve the overall silhouette.
The abdominal muscles were tightened, excess skin was removed, and the incision was placed low on the torso for easier concealment under underwear and swimwear. This approach allowed her to achieve a flatter, more supported lower abdomen with a tighter abdominal muscle wall.
Her postoperative photos show a refined abdominal contour, improved waist definition, and smoother outer thighs, creating a more balanced and harmonious midsection.
This case highlights how a Partial Tummy Tuck paired with strategic liposuction can restore confidence and shape for patients with isolated lower abdominal laxity.
